Sarah Syrup is a self-taught visual artist, who was born and raised in St. Louis. Starting at a young age, Sarah always had an avid interest in art. It wasn't until 2018, that she found her love for painting. What began as a coping mechanism for her mental health, quickly spiraled into a passion. Sarah draws inspiration from past experiences, dreams, and music to create surreal expressionist pieces. With her primary focus of human emotion, she experiments with vibrant color and many times, texture, to influence the moods of each piece. Sarah Syrup's artwork has been featured at Soulard Art Gallery in their 2020 Art of Darkness exhibit and 2021 Trash to Art Exhibit.
